I love my little Daisy. Sadly she arrived less abled than other plush heifers. Dear Daisy has in some places extra stitches that are unrequired and in leave extra threads poking out. In Africa these might be confused with Guinea Worms. In other places the stitching is wonky or absent. Nethertheless I put my initial thoughts down to personal awkwardness and resolved to give Daisy as a gift.
" Oh a downs syndrome cow" was the first response.
I was taken aback, as I would not have objected to a cow with extra chromosomes, but extra stitches in the wrong place. Equally the gaps in stitching giving Daisy hernias and the trailing Guina worms made the giving what should have been a lovely gift more traumatic than it should have been. We noted that the gift was intended for Tilly a tiny little hound who already had a collection of stuffed animals. It would be for her to decide. . . .
In short Daisy was rejected. Abandoned. She wasn't even chewed or dry humped. Just left in the hallway in disgust. I've no idea if it was just this misshapen freaseans stitching or stuffing scent or whatnot. Ultimately we had to remove her to Catanamo Bay where my friends Jess'esque cat has turned her into a meat platter. Not the best ending I'd hoped for my 9.99 in hindsight I should have returned the man made monstrosity to sender.
